Resource: TEC-SMART (Training and Education Center for Semiconductor Manufacturing and Alternative and Renewable Technologies)

 TEC-SMART was created to train the workforce in a variety of green technologies. In addition to core curricula, TEC-SMART offers training in semiconductor manufacturing, including photovoltaic; home energy efficiency; geothermal; alternative fuels; and wind energy. It is a joint initiative between Hudson Valley Community College and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority.
