- Accessible and available for colleges to model and/or customize to their local labor markets
- Not to be used as a means to market individual consultants or their products to AACC members
- Promote colleges becoming generally more innovative

This page provides sector resources on green building including information on news, conferences, funding opportunities and documents.
The purpose of this resource is to provide practitioners, faculty and students with the means to meet the 2030 Challenge, that is, to be able to design and construct buildings to a state of carbon neutrality by the year 2030. The work included in this web resource is the result of a committed effort from educators and practitioners and is an attempt to define a working methodology for Carbon Neutral Design that will be of general benefit to the profession.
This publication, “Advancing Education for Sustainability: Teaching the Concepts of Sustainable Building to All Students
” is intended to “explore the critical role of the built environment in educating all students about sustainability”. To that end, the document “provides a set of core sustainable building concepts, examples of institutions that are successfully teaching their students about sustainability, and recommends steps that higher education institutions could take to provide all students with the knowledge and skills to create a just and sustainable future”.

The Building Technologies Office (BTO) works with the commercial building industry to accelerate the uptake of energy efficiency technologies and techniques in both existing and new commercial buildings. By developing, demonstrating, and deploying cost-effective solutions, BTO strives to reduce energy consumption across the commercial building sector.
