The Zero Carbon Action Plan (ZCAP) was launched in early 2020 as an action plan for the U.S. to reach the goal of zero carbon emissions by 2050. it is based on research that explores decarbonizing six key sectors: power, transport, industry, buildings, food and land use, and materials. The report further makes policy recommendations that support the transition of country-wide energy infrastructure transitions to reach carbon neutrality by 2050. It it designed to inform policy-makers, business leaders and civil society across multiple sectors.
