Architecture 2030: Roadmap to Zero Emissions

Resource: Architecture 2030: Roadmap to Zero Emissions

This reports is a flexible plan that describes emissions reduction targets in the building sector required to avert dangerous and irreversible climate change, including the actions and financing instruments needed to reach the targets. Architecture 2030 is committed to engaging the latest information and technologies to create buildings designed to dramatically reduce their environmental impact.  The two main goals of the initiative are: 1)The dramatic reduction in global fossil fuel consumption and GHG emissions of the built environment by changing the way cities, communities, infrastructure, and buildings, are planned, designed, and constructed and 2)The regional development of an adaptive, resilient built environment that can manage the impacts of climate change, preserve natural resources, and access low-cost, renewable energy resources.
