The Environmental Performance Index (EPI) is a resources that ranks countries across the globe on how well they perform with high-priority environmental issues. The two areas they are graded in are: protection of human health from environmental harm and protection of ecosystems. In addition to an interactive map of results and a break down of many of the environmental issues countries are graded on (water and sanitation, energy, air quality, etc.), educators and students will also find access to news articles, case studies and blogs on related topics.
An initiative of the National Council for Workforce Education, the Sustainability Education and Economic Development Center (SEED) supports community colleges and their partners with curriculum and resources to transform educational programs for a sustainable future.
