USDA Alternative Farming Systems Information Center (AFSIC)

U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Alternative Farming Systems Information Center (AFSIC) specializes in identifying resources about sustainable food systems and practices in support of USDA’s effort to ensure a sustainable future for agriculture and farmers worldwide. AFSIC has a directory that contains links to online searchable databases that pertain, in some degree, to sustainable/alternative agriculture. The directory contains book and article citations and abstracts, research project descriptions, full-text documents and spreadsheets, organizational contact information, plant and animal production information, and other kinds of data.
