World Resource Data Maps (by Resource Watch)

Resource Watch features hundreds of data sets all in one place that inform about the state of the planet’s resources and citizens. Users can visualize challenges facing people and the planet, from climate change to poverty, water risk to state instability, air pollution to human migration. This makes a great resource for both in-class discussion and student exercises. The types of datasets present include: food prices, current natural disasters, solar energy potential, air quality and more. Multiple datasets can be layered onto the maps for detailed analysis.
